Air travel has made travelling from one corner of the world to some other corner relatively easy. You can go from Australia to Dubai or UK to LA in 10-12 hours. Although, that time might seem little in grander scheme of things, those 10-12 hours can be mentally and physically draining, specially in economy class if you’re not prepared well. Charge all your devices and download some movies, music, ebooks or tv shows on them to keep you entertained during flight. Bring a book to read to give yourself a break from screen time.

As cabin lights will be on night mode for most of the flight duration, most likely you’re going to sleeping for good amount of time in a long haul flight. Some people find window seat comfortable for sleeping while some like aisle seat. So, choose your seat accordingly to get good amount of sleep.

Drink a lots of water and stay hydrated. Avoid drinking any sodas and booze as jet lag plus hangover is will ruin your next day of the trip.
