Phra Nang Cave Beach
Phra Nang Cave Beach is magical beach paradise which is accessed through a tunnel. This cave beach is 10 minutes walking distance from Railay beach via a secluded path and you might spot monkeys climbing trees and walls along this path. This beach is famous for its towering cliffs, soft sand, and the unusual custom of leaving phallic offerings at the Phallus Shrine.
Please be aware of strong currents and changing tides before swimming.
Wat Tham Suea (Tiger Cave Temple)
Challenge yourself with a climb up the 1,272 steps of Wat Tham Suea, also known as the Tiger Cave Temple. While its association with tigers has diminished due to ethical concerns, the climb itself offers a rewarding experience. I will recommend hiking during early morning or late afternoon as it gets pretty hot in afternoon and remember to take plenty of water with you.
Please remember to dress respectfully, covering your shoulders and knees.
